For over a decade Digitronic, Inc. has been working with some of the best architects and builders in Los Angeles providing automation systems for some of the most exclusive homes in the world. With our experience working with and integrating so many different technologies over the years and together with other special skill sets obtained working in audio post production, theater stage lighting and programming skills made this concept possible.
What we realised over time is that most smart home systems being installed today fall into two categories, convince technology or security technology. It's convenient to be able to press a button and all the lights in your house turn off, or being able to check your cameras from your iPhone but the systems don't add much in terms of entertainment.
The televisions installed is the only source of meaningful entertainment and it hasn't changed much since the 1950s. With the introduction of smartphones & tablets, great WiFi has become equally important to clients. Given these two technologies some thought, one might realise that the purpose with them is to mentally take you away from the home a client might have spent 30 million dollars on using a device that cost a fraction of that to be entertained. Even though these devices are great for what they are though, immersive entertainment is not one of them because of the limited size or subpar audio quality. That's why this concept was developed to address that.
